Elite Golf Japan was founded in 2026 by Toshihito Okamichi, who spent 14 years with the PGM Group, one of Japan's largest golf course operators. He still plays around 60 rounds a year in Japan. In those 60 rounds, he sees an international golfer at most twice. Japan has over 2,000 golf courses in world-class condition, and almost nobody from outside the country is playing them. Elite Golf Japan was established to close that gap: direct partnerships with the courses, English-language service at every step, and a licensed travel arrangement business behind the booking. Backed by Japan's official travel arrangement license — Tokyo Governor Registration No. 21028 — and direct relationships with 37 authorized partner courses across 15 prefectures, Elite Golf Japan delivers golf in Japan without the friction.
Founder & CEO
Toshihito Okamichi spent 14 years with the PGM Group, one of Japan's largest golf course operators. He worked on the customer side rather than in course operations — as an area manager building relationships with affluent players and corporate clients across the country. He then spent eight years at M&A Cloud Inc., where he served as an executive officer and head of the CEO's office, before founding Elite Golf & Culture Inc. in February 2026. He still plays around 60 rounds a year. In those 60 rounds, he sees an international golfer at most twice — which is the reason Elite Golf Japan exists.
