Asakura Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 woodland course in Sakura, Chiba Prefecture, designed by Nagao Kurosawa and Shoji Sugimoto. The course opened in 2008, making it one of the newer clubs in the Chiba area, and plays to 7,103 yards from the back tees. The club is located at Uchida in Sakura City. Caddy service is required for all rounds, and golfers ride in electromagnetic-guided riding carts around the course. A clubhouse bath is available after play. Access is by reservation-only shuttle bus from the south exit of either Keisei Sakura Station or JR Sakura Station, and drivers can reach the club via the Sakura interchange on the Higashi-Kanto Expressway. With its 2008 opening and 7,103-yard back-tee length, the course reflects a more modern design approach than many of the region's older woodland clubs.
