Fuji Komiyama Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 hilly course in Oyama, Suntō District, Shizuoka Prefecture, opened in 1962 and designed by architect Torakichi Nakamura. The course plays to a total of 7,015 yards, with the back tees measuring 6,492 yards. It sits close to JR Gotemba Line's Suruga-Oyama Station, and golfers driving in can reach the club via the Gotemba IC on the Tomei Expressway (about 20 minutes) or the nearby Ashigara Smart IC. As a hilly-terrain layout, the course follows the natural contours of the foothills, a characteristic shared by several courses built in this part of Shizuoka near Mt. Fuji. Opened more than sixty years ago, Fuji Komiyama is one of the longer-established courses in the Oyama area, a district that is home to several other golf clubs.
