Fuji OGM Golf Club Deshima Course is an 18-hole, par-72 hilly layout in Kasumigaura, Ibaraki Prefecture, opened in 1988. The course was designed jointly by American PGA Tour and Ryder Cup player Larry Nelson and Japanese architect Hirochika Tomizawa, and plays to 7,072 yards from the back tees. Access from Tokyo is via the Joban Expressway to Tsuchiura-kita IC, roughly 17 kilometers from the club, or by train to JR Joban Line's Kandatsu Station, followed by a shuttle bus of about 25 minutes. Weekday green fees start from 4,128 yen and weekend fees from 5,037 yen. The club does not offer caddy service; golfers use GPS-equipped four-seat riding carts. A bath facility is available for use after the round. At 7,072 yards, this is one of the longer courses in the Kasumigaura area, giving it a different character from the area's shorter woodland layouts.
