Hōrai Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 highland course in Nasushiobara, Tochigi, laid out by American designer Robert Von Hagge. The back tees play to 6,821 yards over rolling highland terrain typical of the Nasu foothills. Caddies are optional, and the course runs on riding self-drive carts; from February 2026 the club introduced 100 units of a new fairway-drivable single-rider cart called G-CART, allowing carts onto the fairways rather than cart paths only. After the round, players can use the onsen bath, a feature of the Nasu hot spring region. The club is reached from JR Nasushiobara Station by a club bus (about 20 minutes, reservation required), or by car via the Tohoku Expressway's Nishinasuno-Shiobara IC, roughly 4 kilometers away. The combination of Von Hagge design, highland routing, and onsen bathing makes it a representative course for golfers visiting the Nasu area.
