Hanasaki Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 hilly course in Otsuki, Yamanashi, opened in 2000 and designed by Ichikawa Zoen Doboku. The course plays to a total yardage of 6,852 yards, with 6,823 yards from the back tees. There is no caddy service; players use GPS-equipped riding carts on a self-play basis. The course sits close to central transport links: it is about a 10-minute drive from JR Otsuki Station on the Chuo Main Line, and roughly 1.5 kilometers, about 3 minutes, from Otsuki IC on the Chuo Expressway. That proximity to the Chuo Expressway makes it one of the more accessible hilly courses for golfers coming from central Tokyo. As a course that opened in 2000, Hanasaki reflects more recent design and cart technology compared to many older clubs elsewhere in Yamanashi.
