Hirakata Kokusai Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 hilly course in Hirakata, Osaka Prefecture, designed by Nobukatsu Marumo and opened in 1959. The course plays to 6,529 yards and is one of the older clubs in the Osaka area, reflecting the layout conventions of Japanese golf course design from that period. Access is available by club bus: about 30 minutes from Keihan Hirakatashi Station on the Keihan Main Line, or about 10 minutes from Tsuda Station on the JR Gakkentoshi Line, giving golfers without a car two direct routes from central Osaka and Kyoto. Drivers can reach the course in about 3 minutes from either Hirakata-Gakken Interchange or Hirakata-Higashi Interchange on the Dai-ni Keihan Road. With over six decades of history since opening in 1959, Hirakata Kokusai is a long-standing fixture for golfers based in the Osaka-Kyoto corridor, and the club bus service makes it one of the more transit-friendly courses in the region.
