Izumi-ga-oka Country Club is a 27-hole facility in Sakai, Osaka Prefecture, made up of three nine-hole courses totaling a par of 108 and 10,575 yards. The course opened in 1975, designed by Chohei Miyazawa, with a later renovation supervised by Riki Kohagura. The layout is set on hilly terrain, and caddie service is required for all rounds, with golfers riding in large, electromagnetic-induction-guided carts. A bathhouse is available at the clubhouse after play. The club is about 10 kilometers from Sakai Interchange on the Hanwa Expressway. By train, Izumi-ga-oka or Toga/Mikida stations on the Semboku Rapid Railway are about a 20-minute taxi ride, and the club also runs a free shuttle bus for guests who reserve by 5pm the day before. With three nine-hole courses and required caddie service, the club is set up for a traditional, fully guided round in the hills south of Osaka.
