Kainan Kogen Country Club is a 45-hole, three-course hilly golf club in Aritagawa, Arita District, Wakayama Prefecture, designed by Tsutomu Maruyama of Nankai Kanko Kaihatsu and opened in 1975. Set across hilly terrain in the hills above Kainan, the club's three courses give golfers more flexibility to book a round than a typical single 18-hole layout. The nearest train station is Kainan Station, served by both the JR Hanwa Line and the Kisei Main Line, and the course is about 8 kilometers, or roughly 15 minutes by car, from the Kainan-Higashi interchange on the Hanwa Expressway. Opened in 1975, the club has operated in the Arita area of Wakayama for close to five decades. Its scale, three courses totaling 45 holes, sets it apart from most single-course clubs in the surrounding Kaiso and Arita districts of Wakayama Prefecture.
