Kamakura Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 hilly course in Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture, designed by Makoto Tezuka and opened in 1968. The course plays to 6,176 yards over hilly terrain, giving it more length and elevation change than the neighboring Kamakura Public Golf Course a short distance away. By car it is roughly 25 minutes from Hino interchange and about 35 minutes from Isogo interchange. Carts are electromagnetic guided and self-drive by default, and caddie service is optional with advance reservation for groups who want one. Green fees start at 11,000 yen on weekdays and 13,500 yen on weekends, positioning it toward the mid-to-upper range for private clubs in the Kamakura area. With its 1968 opening and a named architect, the club has a longer competitive pedigree than many newer courses in the region, and the hilly routing rewards accurate shot placement over raw length.
