Kameoka Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course in Higashibetsuin-cho, Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture, opened in 1975. Designed by Yoshio Machida, the layout runs 6,914 yards from the back tees over hilly ground east of the city. Riding carts fitted with GPS navigation are used throughout the round, and caddy service is available on an optional basis. The clubhouse includes a bath house for use after play. Green fees start from 9,246 yen on weekdays and 13,791 yen on weekends. The course is reachable from JR Kameoka Station in about 15 minutes, or from the Kameoka interchange on the Kyoto Jukan Expressway, roughly 3 kilometers away, making it a convenient stop for golfers based in Kyoto without a long drive from the city center. At 6,914 yards, it is one of the longer courses in the Kameoka area, giving stronger players a fuller test over its hilly terrain.
