Kamo Country Club is a 36-hole hilly course in Kizugawa, Kyoto Prefecture, designed by Yoshio Asakawa and opened in 1974. The course comprises two 18-hole courses with a listed par of 72, and the back tees measure 6,655 yards. There is no caddy service; players use self-drive carts that seat five people per cart. Weekday green fees start from ¥5,328. The clubhouse has a bath for use after the round. The course is reached via the Keinawa Expressway, about 12km from the Kizu Interchange, placing it in the hilly country south of Kyoto city near the Nara border. With two courses on hilly ground and self-drive carts as standard, a round here is set up as a self-paced day of golf rather than a caddied round. The 1974 opening date and Yoshio Asakawa's design place it among the courses built in the Kansai region during that period.
