Keihan Country Club is a 27-hole hilly course in Otsu, Shiga, laid out across three nine-hole loops and designed by Kobayashi Mitsuaki. The course opened in 1978 in Oishi Sozuka-cho, on the eastern side of the Lake Biwa area. Golfers reach the club by car from JR Ishiyama Station on the Tokaido Line, roughly a 30-minute drive, or via the Keihan Railway's Uji Station; the Kasatori interchange on the Keiji Bypass sits within about 5 km of the entrance. Players can choose a caddy or go without one, and get around the course on a riding cart. A bathhouse is on site for post-round use. Green fees start from 5,700 yen on weekdays and 8,428 yen on weekends. With three separate nines, Keihan Country Club can be played in different 18-hole combinations, and its hilly routing gives the round more elevation change than flatter courses in the area.
