Kiryu Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 highland course in Kiryu, Gunma Prefecture, sited on the slopes of Mount Akagi at Shinsato-cho. Opened in 1975 and designed by Tadakado Shimoyama, the course plays to 6,464 yards from the back tees and is one of two 18-hole layouts at the club. Carts are electromagnetic-guidance, five-seat models that run automatically along the fairways. The highland setting places the course at elevation on the Akagi range. Access is by car: about 15 minutes from Akagi Station on the Tobu Isesaki Line, or roughly 25 minutes from Isesaki Interchange on the Kita-Kanto Expressway. The club's address is Akagiyama, Shinsato-machi, Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture. With two courses on site, golfers can play a second round without leaving the property.
