Mana Country Club is a 45-hole hilly golf complex in Mobara, Chiba, opened in 1976. The complex comprises two courses: the Mana Course, designed by Izumi Ichisuke and Izumi Michio, and the GP Course, designed by Gary Player. The terrain is hilly, typical of the highland areas of Chiba inland from the Boso Peninsula. The club has an onsen bath on site, letting players soak after a round, a feature not common at every course in the region. Access is by car: from JR Sotobo Line, Toga Station is about 25 minutes away with a club bus available, and Toke Station is about 15 minutes by car. Drivers can also reach the club in about 3 minutes from the Mobara-Nagara Smart IC on the Ken-O Expressway. Caddies are available on an optional basis, giving visiting golfers a choice between a caddied round or a self-navigated one. With two distinct course designs under one membership, including a Gary Player layout, Mana Country Club offers variety across a single visit for golfers touring the Chiba region.
