Mie Phoenix Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course on hilly terrain in Takinokawa-cho, Matsusaka, Mie Prefecture, opened in 1998. Golfers can reach the club by a reservation-based club bus from Ise-Nakagawa Station on the Kintetsu line, or by car via the Ise Expressway, about 10 minutes from the Ichishi-Ureshino interchange. Caddies are optional, and rounds are played with riding carts. After the round, golfers can use the on-site onsen bath. As one of the newer courses in the Ichishi-Ureshino cluster of Mie courses, opened in 1998, Mie Phoenix combines hilly Matsusaka terrain with hot-spring bathing and station-bus access for visitors travelling without a car.
