Minoo Golf Club opened in 1960 in Ikeda City, Osaka Prefecture, and plays 18 holes to a par of 72 over 6,731 yards of hilly terrain. The course was designed by architect Osamu Ueda. Despite its name, the club's address places it in Ikeda rather than neighboring Minoo. Access is via a club shuttle bus from Hankyu Takarazuka Line's Ikeda Station, a ride of about 25 minutes, or by car through the Kawanishi Obana interchange on the Hanshin Expressway Route 11 Ikeda Line, roughly 16 minutes from the club. Powered carts are available, with caddie service offered on an optional, self-drive-selectable basis. The clubhouse includes bath facilities, a standard amenity at Japanese golf clubs that lets players wind down after a round on hilly ground. Opened the same year as nearby Ikeda GC, Minoo GC is part of a cluster of golf facilities on the northern edge of the Osaka conurbation.
