Nakasu Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 hilly course in Shunan, Yamaguchi Prefecture, opened in 1975 and designed by Torakichi Nakamura. Back-tee yardage runs to 7,125 yards, part of a wider facility with three courses. Green fees start from 9,700 yen on weekdays and 13,200 yen on weekends. Caddie service is not offered, so rounds are played without one, and the clubhouse has an onsen bath. Nakamura, one of Japan's best-known postwar golfers, laid out the hilly terrain, giving the routing elevation change across its 7,125-yard back tees. The club sits about 15 kilometers from the Kumage interchange on the Sanyo Expressway, and roughly a 30-minute taxi ride from Tokuyama Station on the JR Sanyo Shinkansen line. The combination of shinkansen access to Tokuyama and expressway proximity via the Kumage interchange gives visitors two practical routes to reach the club, whether arriving by rail or by car from elsewhere in Yamaguchi.
