Nijo Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 seaside course in Itoshima, Fukuoka Prefecture, opened in 1974. The layout stretches to 6,615 yards, among the longer seaside courses in the region, and was designed by Yaji Akaboshi. The club is reached via the Fukuoka-Maebaru Road, about 15 kilometers, or roughly 20 minutes, from the Maebaru Interchange. As with many seaside courses on this stretch of Kyushu coastline, the club operates without caddie service; golfers instead use 5-seat riding carts, and fairway access is permitted for an additional fee, letting players drive closer to their ball on the coastal terrain. An on-site bath is available after play. Opened half a century ago, Nijo Country Club has a long operating history on the Itoshima coast west of Fukuoka city.
