North Rokko Country Club's West course is one of two 18-hole layouts that make up this 36-hole, par-72 facility in Kobe's Kita Ward, Hyogo Prefecture, opened in 1983. The West course plays to a back-tee yardage of 6,648 yards over hilly ground shaped by the Rokko mountain range. Access is by taxi from Kobe Electric Railway's Okaba Station, roughly 15 minutes, or by car via the Rokko Kita Toll Road's Osawa interchange, about 5 minutes away. Caddie service is optional. Cart arrangements differ between the two courses: the East course uses caddie-driven carts, while the West course runs 5-seater electromagnetically guided carts on a mainly self-drive basis.
