Rainbow Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course set on hilly terrain in Nakai, Ashigarakami District, Kanagawa Prefecture. Designed by Seizo Tomizawa and Hirochika Tomizawa, the course opened in 1969 and plays to a total yardage of 7,044 yards from the back tees, making it one of the longer hilly-terrain layouts in the region. The club is reachable by car via the Tomei Expressway, exiting at Hadano-Nakai Interchange, about a 10-minute drive to the course. Golfers arriving by train can take the Odakyu Line to Hadano Station, where a club bus covers the roughly 15-minute transfer, or the Tokaido Line to Ninomiya Station, with a club bus transfer of about 20 minutes. After the round, the clubhouse offers a bath facility. With more than five decades of history and a 7,044-yard back-tee layout across hilly ground, Rainbow Country Club gives golfers a longer, more demanding test than many courses closer to central Tokyo.
