Sashima Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 woodland course in Bando, Ibaraki Prefecture, opened in 1998 and built by Dai Nippon Doboku Co., Ltd. The course plays to 7,033 yards, a long layout set among the woodland typical of the area northeast of Tokyo. A bathhouse is available at the clubhouse, and a caddy can be arranged on request. Access is by car: the club is about 9 minutes from the Sakai-Koga interchange and about 9 minutes from the Bando interchange. That makes it a practical stop for golfers driving out from the Tokyo metropolitan area. As one of the newer courses in this dataset, opened in the late 1990s, it offers a full-length 18-hole round within a relatively compact drive from central Tokyo.
