Sendai Green Golf Club

Sendai Green Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course in Shiroishi, Miyagi Prefecture, built by Tokyu Construction and opened in 1977. The layout covers 6,628 yards over hilly terrain in the Otakazawa area of the city. Weekday green fees start from 3,000 yen and weekend fees start from 4,500 yen, among the more accessible rates in the region. The club is roughly a 15-minute taxi ride from JR Shiroishi Station on the Tohoku Main Line, and about 13 kilometers from Shiroishi Interchange on the Tohoku Expressway. Play is self-service with riding carts and no caddy service, which keeps rounds moving at a steady pace. Opened in 1977, the course predates many of the Nicklaus- and Trent Jones-designed clubs that followed in the Sendai area during the 1980s and 1990s, giving it an older, established routing through the hilly Otakazawa terrain. Its lower green fees and self-play cart format make it a practical choice for golfers looking for a straightforward round near Shiroishi without the higher costs of the region's championship-branded courses.
