Shigaraki Country Club's Tashiro Course is an 18-hole, par-72 layout in the hills of Koka, Shiga Prefecture, designed by architect Lee Schmidt. The course measures 7,188 yards in total, with a back-tee yardage of 6,557 yards. Set on hilly terrain near the town of Shigaraki, the course is part of the same club as the neighboring Sugiyama Course. Riding carts with iPad navigation are provided, caddies are available on an optional basis, and a bathhouse is on site. Green fees start from 11,750 yen on weekdays and 18,460 yen on weekends. Access is by taxi from Shigaraki Kogen Railway's Shigaraki Station, about 15 minutes away, or from JR Tokaido Main Line's Seta Station, around 30 minutes by taxi. By car, the Shin-Meishin Expressway's Shigaraki IC is roughly 10 minutes from the club. The par-72 routing over hilly ground gives the Tashiro Course a longer overall yardage than many courses in the region.
