The course was supervised by general contractor Kumagai Gumi and opened in 1984, playing to 6,976 yards from the back tees. It sits within reach of both the JR Utsunomiya Line and the regional expressway network: Hoshakuji Station is about a 15-minute taxi ride away, while the Kita-Kanto Expressway's Kaminokawa Interchange (about 28.5km) and the Tohoku Expressway's Utsunomiya Interchange (about 28km) both serve the club. Caddies are available on an optional basis, and rounds are played with electromagnetic remote-controlled riding carts that follow the fairway without a driver. After the round, players can unwind in the club's onsen, a natural hot-spring bath rather than a standard bathhouse. Green fees start from 5,700 yen on weekdays and 9,800 yen on weekends.
