Taikoudaira Country Club's Tamba Course is an 18-hole, par-72 hilly-terrain course in Kyotamba, Kyoto Prefecture, one of two courses at the facility. Designed by Goukichi Ohashi, it opened in 1967 and plays to 7,018 yards from the back tees. Caddies are optional, giving golfers the choice of a caddied or self-navigated round. The club has a bath on site. It is reached by car via the Kyoto Jukan Expressway, about 5 minutes from the Tamba Interchange, or by taxi from JR Hiyoshi Station on the San'in Main Line, roughly 8 minutes away. At 7,018 yards, the Tamba Course is long for its 1967 opening date, giving it more length than many courses built in the same period, and its par-72 routing over hilly terrain makes it a demanding test for visiting golfers with expressway access from the Tamba IC in under five minutes.
