Takasaka Country Club's Yoneyama Course sits on hilly ground in Higashimatsuyama, Saitama, about an hour northwest of central Tokyo. The 18-hole, par-72 layout plays 6,337 yards from the regular tees and stretches to 6,773 yards from the back tees. Seizo Tomizawa designed the course, which opened in 1958 as one of two 18-hole layouts at the club. Caddy service is optional, so golfers can choose a self-navigated round or add local knowledge of the terrain. A bath facility is available on site after the round. Access is straightforward: the Tobu Tojo Line stops at Kosaka Station, where the club runs a shuttle bus from the west exit, and drivers can reach the club via the Kan-etsu Expressway's Tsurugashima interchange, or the Sakado-nishi Smart IC for ETC users. The hilly routing and 1958 opening date place Yoneyama among Saitama's older inland courses, built well before the golf boom of the 1970s and 80s reshaped much of the prefecture's course landscape.
