Takasaki KG Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 hilly course in Takasaki, Gunma, one of two courses at the facility. It opened in 1975 and was designed by Taisei Corporation. From the back tees the course plays to 6,635 yards. Riding carts are available for use on the course. The club sits at 6007 Kamimuroda-machi in the hills outside central Takasaki. Access from Tokyo runs via the JR Nagano Shinkansen to Annaka-Haruna Station, about 20 minutes from the course with a shuttle bus available, or by car via the Kanetsu Expressway, roughly 24 kilometers from the Maebashi Interchange. Nearly half a century since opening, the hilly routing has settled into the mature terrain typical of Gunma's mountain-adjacent courses. Golfers based in central Tokyo can reach the club within a half-day round trip using the shinkansen connection, making it a practical option for visitors who want a hilly test outside the city.
