Tamano Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course in Tamano, Okayama Prefecture, at 宇野6-1-1, close to the city's port district. Designed by Giichi Sato, the club opened in 1961, making it one of the longer-established clubs in the region. The hilly course plays to 6,477 yards from both the regular and back tees. It sits about seven minutes from JR Uno Station on the Uno Line and roughly 21 kilometers from the Seto-Chuo Expressway's Kojima IC, making it accessible for golfers arriving by train or car from Okayama City or across the Seto Ohashi Bridge from Shikoku. Rounds are supported by an electromagnetic-guided cart system that runs on an eight-minute operating interval, moving players around the hilly terrain without requiring a caddy to be booked. The course's six-decade history places it among Okayama's established golf destinations.
