It sits close to the Tohoku Expressway, about a 3-minute drive from Tochigi Interchange, making it one of the more convenient courses in the prefecture to reach by car. Golfers arriving by train can use JR Tochigi Station, roughly a 15-minute taxi ride away, or Shin-Tochigi Station on the Tobu Nikko Line, about 10 minutes by taxi. As a full 18-hole, par-72 layout opened in the early 1990s, Tochigigaoka offers a standard championship-length round for golfers based in or passing through the Tochigi City area.
