Tsukuba Gakuen Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 hilly course in Sakuragawa, Ibaraki, opened in 1988 and measuring 6,648 yards. The course was built by Dai Nippon Doboku Co. The club is about 8 minutes by car from JR Mito Line's Iwase Station and roughly 3km from the Sakuragawa-Chikusei Interchange on the Kita-Kanto Expressway, giving it convenient highway access. Riding carts fitted with GPS navigation were updated in December 2018 and seat up to five players. Caddy service is available on an optional basis for groups that want one, otherwise play proceeds self-drive. Weekday green fees start from 5,490 yen, rising to 8,490 yen on weekends. An on-site bath facility is available for use after the round. With nearly four decades of history since opening and a full 18-hole, par-72 layout over hilly ground, the course offers a substantial round within easy reach of the Kita-Kanto Expressway.
