Ube 72 Country Club Achisuike Course is an 18-hole, par-73 woodland course in Yamaguchi, one of four courses that make up the Ube 72 Country Club complex. The course was designed by Osamu Ueda and opened in 1960, playing to a total yardage of 6,875 from the back tees. Green fees start from ¥11,700 on weekdays and ¥15,000 on weekends. The club is reached by taxi in about 20 minutes from Shin-Yamaguchi Station on the JR Sanyo Shinkansen line, or by car via the Achisu interchange on the Yamaguchi-Ube Road. Play is self-guided, with no caddy service offered, and rounds are taken by riding cart; drivers must hold a valid driver's license to operate the cart themselves. As part of a four-course complex, Achisuike gives visitors the option to combine a round here with play on the club's other courses during the same trip.
