Weego Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course over hilly ground in Shinko-machi, on the outskirts of Nagano City. It was built by Maeda Corporation and opened in 2001. The course is reached by taxi in about 15 minutes from JR Shinonoi Station, or roughly 30 minutes from Nagano Station, and by car in about 15 minutes from the Koshoku Interchange on the Nagano Expressway. Play here is cart-based rather than caddied, with navigation-equipped carts, described locally as marshal-navi carts, guiding golfers around the hilly layout. The clubhouse has a bath for players after their round. As a newer course built in 2001, Weego's hilly routing and cart-navigation system reflect a more modern approach to course management than many of the area's older clubs.
