Service fees, deposits and package prices — separated, sourced, and dated.
Quick answer
Elite Golf Japan charges a total booking fee by group size: US$60 for one golfer, US$90 for two or three, and US$120 for four. Green fees are separate. Other services price differently — Teelink Japan per person by plan (US$200–US$1,000), Miramar a percentage of the package (3%, capped at ¥100,000, for customized travel), and Tee Time Japan a 35% booking fee plus separate deposit and reservation-fee items. GolfMatchy does not publish an amount, and Preserve Golf Japan quotes individually. Because the units differ, compare the charge for your group size and number of rounds, and check what each service includes. Reviewed on September 16, 2026.

Quotes from different services do not line up because they are not the same kind of number. These four types of charge should be compared separately.
A service fee is what the company charges for arranging the round: contacting the course in Japanese, completing the guest registration the club requires, and confirming your booking details in English. It sits on top of what you pay the course.
A deposit is money taken up front and credited against your total. A deposit is not an extra cost if the trip goes ahead. Whether it is refundable depends on the cancellation terms — Tee Time Japan, for example, states its deposit is non-refundable.
A package price covers the services listed in the itinerary, though not necessarily the golf. If you are comparing against a package, confirm what the figure includes.
A green fee is what the golf course charges to play, per golfer per round. Across our course list it runs ¥10,000 to ¥30,000, settled at the course on the day. Our full breakdown of the green-fee side is in what golf in Japan costs.
| Service | Published figure | Kind of charge | Green fees |
|---|---|---|---|
| Elite Golf Japan | US$60 solo, US$90 for two or three, US$120 for four (total per booking) | Service fee, by group size | Separate, paid at the course |
| Miramar Japan Golf & Travel (source) | 3% of the package price (standard terms), capped at ¥100,000 per booking, for customized travel; a 25% deposit for direct bookings | Service fee (percentage) | Per the terms of the quotation |
| Teelink Japan (source) | US$200 / US$400 / US$1,000 per person (Bronze / Silver / Gold) | Service fee, by plan | Separate, paid at the course |
| Tee Time Japan (source) | Its disclosure lists, as separate items, a 35% booking fee + 10% tax, a US$100 + tax non-refundable deposit (credited to the trip total), and a ¥16,500 reservation fee — confirm how they apply to your booking | Booking fee (percentage) plus a deposit | Paid at the course, per its disclosure |
| GolfMatchy (source) | A flat per-golfer fee, shown before you confirm; the amount is not published on the pages we read | Service fee | Separate, paid at the course |

Reviewed on September 16, 2026 from each company’s own public pages (linked above). “Not published” means we did not find a figure on the pages we read, not that one does not exist — registration and fee details are sometimes given on request or in booking documents rather than on a marketing page.
The unit changes the total more than the headline figure does. Take four golfers playing three rounds. Both fees below are quoted in US dollars; compare each fee in the currency the provider charges.
| Service | 4 golfers, 3 rounds | 4 golfers, 1 round |
|---|---|---|
| Teelink, Bronze (US$200 per person, one plan) | US$800 | US$800 |
| Elite Golf Japan (US$120 per booking, four golfers) | US$360 (three separate bookings) | US$120 |
Within one plan and excluding add-ons, Teelink’s per-person fee does not change with the number of rounds: its Bronze fee totals US$800 for four golfers when all three rounds are covered by one plan. Our fee is a total per booking based on group size — US$60 for a solo golfer, US$90 for two or three, US$120 for a foursome, and US$30 per golfer for groups of five or more — so for four golfers it is US$120 per booking, or US$360 across three separately booked rounds. A percentage fee like Miramar’s moves with the package price. Calculate the fee for your group size and number of rounds before comparing.
These are not identical services. Teelink’s plans include a planning session and, at higher tiers, rental and restaurant arrangements; the comparison shows how the units behave, not which service is better value.
Is the fee per golfer, per round, per booking, or per plan? Calculate the fee for your group size and number of rounds; the unit changes the total.
Is this a fee or a deposit? A deposit is credited toward your total; a service fee is an extra cost. Whether either is refundable depends on the provider’s terms.
When is the fee payable, and what if the tee time cannot be secured? We charge only after a tee time is confirmed, and nothing if we cannot secure it. Payment timing and cancellation terms vary by provider, so ask.
Is anything added to the green fee? We do not add a markup, and green fees on our bookings are settled directly with the course. Ask each provider, since an absence of a statement is not an assurance.
Are you registered under Japan’s Travel Agency Act, and under which number? Japan separates a travel agency (旅行業) from a travel service arrangement business (旅行サービス手配業). Elite Golf Japan is a Registered Travel Service Arrangement Business under Tokyo Governor Registration No. 21028. Miramar publishes 神奈川県知事登録旅行業 第3-1321号. If a provider does not show a number, ask them — a blank is not evidence a company is unregistered.
We are one of the services above, so we will state our terms plainly. Our booking fee is a total per booking, based on group size:
US$60
1 golfer
US$90
2 golfers
US$90
3 golfers
US$120
4 golfers
US$30 per golfer
5+ golfers
Green fees are separate and settled at the course on the day, per golfer per round, and across our list they run ¥10,000 to ¥30,000. The fee is charged through Stripe only after a tee time is confirmed, and nothing is charged if we cannot secure it. We do not add a markup to the green fee.
The booking fee covers the Japanese-language side: coordinating with the course, completing the guest registration each club requires, confirming your booking details in English, and arranging rental clubs and caddies. Rental and caddie charges themselves are separate and settled at the course. Airport transfers and an English-speaking on-course host are available on request at additional cost.
We arrange bookings at 37 courses across 15 prefectures: Chiba, Gifu, Hokkaido, Hyogo, Ibaraki, Kagoshima, Kochi, Mie, Miyagi, Miyazaki, Okinawa, Saitama, Shizuoka, Tochigi, Yamanashi. We operate as a Registered Travel Service Arrangement Business under Tokyo Governor Registration No. 21028, and answer inquiries within 12 business hours (JST 9:00–18:00).
It depends on how each one prices. Elite Golf Japan charges a total booking fee by group size: US$60 for one golfer, US$90 for two or three, and US$120 for four. Teelink Japan charges US$200, US$400 or US$1,000 per person by plan. Miramar charges 3% of the package price, capped at ¥100,000 per booking. Tee Time Japan lists a 35% booking fee plus tax, a US$100 non-refundable deposit, and a ¥16,500 reservation fee. GolfMatchy charges a flat per-golfer fee it does not publish, and Preserve Golf Japan does not publish a figure. Reviewed on September 16, 2026.
No. Green fees are settled separately at the golf course on the day, per golfer per round, and on our course list they run about ¥10,000 to ¥30,000. Budget for both the booking fee and the green fee.
For four golfers, our booking fee is US$120 per booking. Three separately booked rounds therefore cost US$360 in booking fees. Green fees are separate and paid at the course.
A service fee pays for arranging the booking. A deposit is money held against your total and applied toward it. When a fee becomes payable, and whether a deposit is refundable, depends on each provider’s terms. Tee Time Japan, for example, publishes a non-refundable deposit; our fee is not charged until we secure your tee time.
We do not, and green fees on our bookings are settled directly with the course. Terms differ between providers, so if it matters to you, ask before booking — an absence of a statement is not the same as an assurance.
Request an itemized quote for your dates, group size, and number of rounds. Many services price per itinerary, which is reasonable for bespoke work but means you cannot compare before making contact.
Not on its own. The fees are charged on different units — per golfer, per round, per booking, or per plan — so a lower headline figure can still cost more across a trip. Compare the charges for the same group size and number of rounds, and check what each service includes.
Competitor information was reviewed on September 16, 2026 from each company’s public pricing, terms and service pages, linked in the table above. We recorded only figures stated on those pages and requested no private quotes. Elite Golf Japan’s fees were updated on 2026-09-16. Prices and pages change, so check each provider’s current pricing and terms before booking; our own pricing page is the current authority for our fee.
