Fuji in Shizuoka and Yamanashi. Published weekday green fees run ¥7,000–¥30,000, paid at the course. Book one course per day. A Japanese round is usually played in two halves with a sit-down lunch in between, so with the journey it fills most of the day.
Pick the area by where you are staying and flying. Several Chiba courses list access from the Narita Airport area, which can work around a flight if the timings allow. For the Mt. Fuji courses, check each course’s access notes; staying a night in the Fuji area is an option.
Travel light. We can have rental clubs delivered to your course, so you are not carrying a bag on the train.
Expect a dress code. Collared shirts are standard, and some clubs on this list keep a stricter, more traditional code. Ask us about a specific course’s rules before you go.
There are two main costs. The green fee (¥7,000–¥30,000 on weekdays across these courses, ¥13,000–¥36,000 at weekends) is paid to the course on the day, and we do not mark it up. Our booking fee is US$60 for a solo golfer, US$90 for two or three, US$120 for a foursome, and US$30 per golfer for groups of five or more, charged only once your tee time is secured.
